High School Pastor – Riverside Campus

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Experience: 5+ years of work experience leading a high school youth ministry in at least a medium-size church
  • HIGHLY relational – high energy, fun, attractive personality, passion to start small groups, ministry of presence

Reports To:
Scott Harrop, Adult Ministries Pastor (main campus)

Relates Closely With:
  • Riverside Pastoral Staff
  • Riverside Middle School Pastor – Grant Vittotow
  • Collaborate with other 6 Student Ministries Pastors from other campuses
Provides Oversight To:
High school ministry at the Riverside campus (main campus)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Vision & Strategy – planning and execution of high school ministry
  • Launch small group ministry within 3-6 months
  • Influence on 4 main high school campuses
  • Recruitment, training, and management of volunteer staff
  • Leadership development of students
  • Parent relations
  • Management of high school budget
Compensation Package:
  • Total compensation negotiable based on experience and education
  • $50-60K salary range
  • Entire package may be proportioned to accommodate the needs of person including:
    • Salary
    • Housing
    • 3% of salary into retirement with increasing percentages with longevity
  • Employee pays $144/month for health and $10/month for dental and vision insurance
  • Life insurance policy for three times your salary
  • Long-term disability
  • 48 hours of vacation pro-rated for the first year. 15 days vacation each year thereafter. Increases to 20 days of vacation after 5 full calendar years.
  • 6 sick days each full year of service
  • Evaluations: 90-days and annually in June


Campus Worship Pastor – Full-Time

Job Description:

Sagebrush is looking for a Worship Pastor to serve on our Worship Team at one of our multisite campuses. We are looking for a dynamic worship leader who has a passion for engaging the church in song and leading them to participate not spectate. This person must have strong vocal talent, be able to lead with an instrument (guitar or keys preferred), lead a band musically, and be a team builder who knows how to recruit, pastor, and equip volunteers.   Our vision as a church is “To Know Christ and Make Christ Known.” We believe that excellence honors God and inspires others, so the candidate must exhibit a teachable and humble spirit. We also believe the church must be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. The candidate must be able to lead passionate worship, but also be comfortable using both Christian and secular music to complement a weekend message or simply invite or engage attendees. 
The individual should fit the following profile: seasoned believer, teachable spirit, excellent communicator and musician, self-motivated, detail oriented, good with time management, engaging personality, humble servant. 

The ideal candidate has experience with highly detailed weekend services, leading multiple experiences, leading a church of 1,000 or more, working with recording software and/or Abelton live, experience setting up a multisite campus, and the ability to play multiple instruments well.

The qualified candidate should...
  1. Have 1-5 years of full-time ministry experience. If you do not have at least 1 year, please do NOT apply.
  2. Have some education involving music theory.
  3. Have a high drive for excellence with the bandwidth to multitask several projects/people.
  4. Demonstrate that your own personal relationship with Christ is growing.
  5. Desire to be a part of a team of pastors.
  6. Be willing to serve at a multisite campus.
  7. Have a track record of building volunteer teams.
  8. Have a heart for ministry.
