Associate Campus Pastor

Job Summary:

Sagebrush Community Church is currently looking for a full-time Associate Campus Pastor. This is an ideal position for a person who is passionate about reaching people for Christ. The primary responsibility for this position is reaching out to those who have visited the church, creating and leading teams of volunteers, and becoming a part of a community that is on fire for the Lord.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the leadership of the campus; proactively look for, meet, and greet new attendees, and build relationships with members and attendees.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the membership class to include calling contacts, leading the class, follow-up with attendees, and building a team of leaders for the class.
  • Recruit, equip, and oversee all volunteers at the campus level to include giving leadership and vision.
  • Coordinate and lead the set-up and tear-down team for your campus.
  • Oversee baptisms at your campus. Greet participants, provide proper paperwork, and walk through the process with them.
  • Promote and coordinate campus events. Recruit volunteers, purchase supplies, promote, prepare, and clean up all campus events.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor or PMT.

Campus Worship Pastor – Full-Time

Job Description:

Sagebrush is looking for a Worship Pastor to serve on our Worship Team at one of our multisite campuses. We are looking for a dynamic worship leader who has a passion for engaging the church in song and leading them to participate not spectate. This person must have strong vocal talent, be able to lead with an instrument (guitar or keys preferred), lead a band musically, and be a team builder who knows how to recruit, pastor, and equip volunteers.   Our vision as a church is “To Know Christ and Make Christ Known.” We believe that excellence honors God and inspires others, so the candidate must exhibit a teachable and humble spirit. We also believe the church must be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. The candidate must be able to lead passionate worship, but also be comfortable using both Christian and secular music to complement a weekend message or simply invite or engage attendees. 
The individual should fit the following profile: seasoned believer, teachable spirit, excellent communicator and musician, self-motivated, detail oriented, good with time management, engaging personality, humble servant. 

The ideal candidate has experience with highly detailed weekend services, leading multiple experiences, leading a church of 1,000 or more, working with recording software and/or Abelton live, experience setting up a multisite campus, and the ability to play multiple instruments well.

The qualified candidate should...
  1. Have 1-5 years of full-time ministry experience. If you do not have at least 1 year, please do NOT apply.
  2. Have some education involving music theory.
  3. Have a high drive for excellence with the bandwidth to multitask several projects/people.
  4. Demonstrate that your own personal relationship with Christ is growing.
  5. Desire to be a part of a team of pastors.

  7. Have a track record of building volunteer teams.
  8. Have a heart for ministry.

Student Pastor

Job Description:

Sagebrush is a growing church based in Albuquerque, NM, with 10 campuses and more than 13,000 people attending weekly. We are looking to add staff to our Student Ministry team and are immediately seeking a full-time Student Pastor. Sagebrush Community Church is committed to establishing a culture of student ministries that helps teens to know Christ and make Christ known. For this reason we have established a team of student pastors, interns and volunteers who are passionately consumed with reaching out to this lost generation. Qualifications:
  1. Engaging Personality: relational, energetic, outgoing, and fun-loving.
  2. Ability to Disciple: able to lead students towards spiritual growth in Christ
  3. Strong Communication Skills: able to share effectively with all ages and group sizes.
  4. Teachable Spirit: willing to receive direction, learn from others, and be humble.
  5. Intuitive Awareness: quick learner, able to problem-solve, and stay adaptable.
  6. Called Shepherd: must sense a calling to ministry and serve in student ministry.
  7. Creative Innovator: out-of-the-box where appropriate and able to “lay new track”.
  8. Relational Intelligence: strong ability to relate to students, parents, and staff.
  9. Three years involvement in Student Ministry, one of those as the ministry point leader.
  10. Solid foundation of theology, ability to navigate Scripture, with experience teaching.
  11. Experience with Microsoft Office, Pro Presenter, and current software programs.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop an expanding creative Sunday morning experience for HS & MS students.
  2. Collaborate with the other Sagebrush Campus Student Pastors to develop a shared message series with the same general content and work creatively to take the general message each week and personalize it with unique stories and creativit.
  3. Invest in relationships with students and staff at the high schools and middle schools through campus ministry.
  4. Champion the need for and connections to Small Groups.
  5. Help to oversee a worship experience on Sunday Mornings at the campus.
  6. Recruit, equip, and oversee all volunteers at the campus level.
  7. Provide weekly flash reports, emails, and updates for parents, leaders and staff.
  8. Oversee contact of student visitors and response card decisions made at the campus.
  9. Attend all student ministry and staff meetings as well as Saturday night services.
  10. Participate in tear down and set up of multi-site campus.
  11. Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Student Pastor.
