Kids Ministry Program Director – Full Time

Job Summary:

Sagebrush has a full-time Program Director position in our kids ministry. The kids ministry Program Director designs, develops, writes, and edits curriculum and communication content for the kids ministry. We are looking for someone who is creative and articulate. Ministry experience is required; teaching experience is preferable. If you have a passion for investing in the next generation and helping leaders make lasting changes in the lives of our kids, we need you!

Qualifications:
  • Excellent written communication skills (writing sample required).
  • Ministry experience and doctrine knowledge.

  • Forward plan. Develop and maintain curriculum calendars and tracks.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Kids Planet production team to design, develop, and deliver weekend curriculum for preschool, elementary, and preteen children, as well as special event programming.
  • Write creative, engaging, and age-relevant content that guides and inspires heart-change. Content formats include large group storytelling, skits and games, small group activities and object lessons, public promotion of ministry series and events, resources for parents, on-screen media, etc.
  • Organize and deliver production elements to local and distance locations via online applications.

The kids ministry Connection Director will engage families to the ministry through coordinating big weekends, pre/post service fun, planning events, coordinating worship, overseeing check-in, and global promotion of the ministry. We are looking for someone who is energetic, extraverted, and exudes friendliness. Videographer

Job description:

We are seeking a videographer that will create videos for Sagebrush. These videos will vary greatly from documentary style to narrative script-based videos. Responsible for video projects from concept to completion, the videographer will be responsible for tasks such as scouting for locations, writing scripts, directing, cinematography, lighting, editing, and exporting. The videographer needs to be willing to accept different roles (director, editor, writer, etc.) within a larger production when collaborating with other team members. He or she will need to have a proactive work ethic, including a self-motivated drive for quality and creativity, and a passion for excellence in the video projects.

Requirements:
  • Demo reel or previous examples of work
  • High level of experience with lighting, audio, lenses, and camera systems
  • Proficiency in Premiere or other non-linear editing program
  • Knowledge of all types of cameras, lighting, and production gear
  • Ability to work in a Mac-based production environment
  • Ability to direct talent
  • Openness to critique and willingness to collaborate with other videographers
  • Ability to produce a project from conception to completion

Creative Video Production Assistant – Part Time

Job description:

We are seeking a video production assistant that will work with the videographers on the creative team to help produce videos for Sagebrush. These videos will vary greatly from documentary style to narrative script-based videos. The assistant will need to have a proactive work ethic, including a self-motivated drive for quality, creativity, and a passion for excellence in the video projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Project management for creative video projects
  • Organize, schedule, and coordinate video productions
  • Handle multiple schedules, crew, actors, and volunteers all at once
  • Organize camera equipment
  • Assist camera operators with lights, stands, and prepping cameras
  • Assist in answering questions from other departments related to video projects
  • Help organize meetings and ensure smooth communication between all departments
  • Maintain video studio and reorder supplies and equipment when needed
  • Find actors, locations, and props for video projects
  • Assist in all aspects of production (preproduction, production, and postproduction)
  • Look ahead throughout the year for future opportunities in video production
  • Write scripts for promos, series bumpers, and other creative videos
  • Complete purchase orders and submit monthly credit card statement
  • Attend team meetings and prepare notes for job tracking
  • Coordinate volunteers for video productions, event coverage, creative events

Graphic Designer/Web Designer

We are seeking a graphic/web designer that will develop graphic elements for weekend series and ministries. Projects may include logos, apparel design, posters, booklets, and print work. Web responsibilities will include maintaining content of the current website, app, and social media. Will assist in weekly updates of media content, as well as being able to grow our current website as we continue to expand. While web knowledge is important, the ability to design and integrate custom templates is needed.

Ideal candidates will have experience, knowledge, and skill sets in the following areas:

General Design Skills:
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
  • Working knowledge of HTML5/PHP, XML, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery
  • Experience with web hosting architectures and MySQL Databases
  • Demonstrated knowledge and examples of CMS Experience (Joomla)
  • Experience with social media, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Must have a demo reel or portfolio of previous examples of work

Graphic Artist – Full Time

We are looking for an artist capable of developing graphic layouts, branding, and multimedia elements. Design responsibilities include conceptualization and design of series art, branding, apparel, posters, booklets, and other print or digital work.

Ideal candidates will have experience, knowledge, and skill sets in the following areas:

General Design Skills:
  • Proficient in Adobe applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to conceptualize and develop projects for web/print layouts.
  • Intermediate to advanced Photoshop knowledge and skills to complete digital illustrations from multiple images/sources.
  • Ability to work a project through phases from concept, to rough layouts, to final layouts.
  • Knowledge of prepress formats and specifications to properly prepare press-ready art layout for submission to vendors.
  • Knowledge of web/app formats and specifications to properly save artwork for use in web.
Additional Skills:

Other possible peripheral skills or background experience that would be beneficial to an individual applying for this position could include illustration or animation, web design, and app design.

Student Pastor

Sagebrush is a growing church based in Albuquerque, NM, with 10 locations and more than 13,000 people attending weekly. We are looking to add staff to our student ministry team and are immediately seeking a full-time and a part-time student pastor. Sagebrush Community Church is committed to establishing a culture of student ministry that helps teens know Christ and make Christ known.   • Invest in relationships with students and staff at the high schools and middle schools through campus ministry.
  • Champion the need for and connections to small groups.
  • Coordinate with student worship team weekly.
  • Recruit, equip, and oversee all volunteers at the specific location.
  • Provide weekly reports, emails, and updates for parents, leaders, and staff.
  • Oversee contact of student visitors and response card decisions made at the campus.
  • Attend all student ministry and staff meetings as well as a weekend service.
  • Tear down and set up of multi-site location.
