Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the catalyst for transformation in individual lives and in the church.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; James 1:23-25

We believe that God is intimately concerned about each individual lost person, and therefore, reaching them is priority of our church.

1 Timothy 2:4; Luke 19:10

We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. This includes the concept of sensitively relating to our culture through our facility, printed materials, and use of the arts.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23

We believe that a church should operate as a unified community of servants stewarding their spiritual gifts and resources.

1 Corinthians 12 and 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4; Psalm 133:1

We believe that the Christian home and deliberate hospitality are effective tools of God.

Acts 10; Luke 5:27-32

We believe that life-change happens best in small groups.

Luke 6:12-13; Acts 2:44-47

We believe that excellence honors God and inspires others.

Colossians 3:17,23-24; Romans 12:11

We believe disciple-making is one of the essential callings of each believer. It is not an optional program for the spiritually elite, but rather the basic ministry of all true believers.

2 Timothy 2:2; Matthew 28:18-20

We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life.

1 Corinthians 13; John 13:34-35; Romans 12:9-10

We believe that the pursuit of full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer.

Philippians 2:1-11; Matthew 22:37-39

We believe the church must fall so in love with Christ that they are no longer comfortable with the fleeting American Dream; rather they are gripped by a vision to fulfill the Great Commission.

Matthew 22:37-39, Matthew 28:18-20

We believe that the church should operate as the hands and feet of Jesus, giving and providing compassion to those in need.

Matthew 25:31-46, Ephesians 2:10, Colossians 3:12, Matthew 10:42
